First Methodist Church of Mount Holly, NC is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for our Sunday services!

We offer 2 distinct styles of worship.  At 8:32 AM each Sunday, we worship in the fellowship hall with a small band and less liturgy.  We call this service “contemporary” which to us means modern music and a relaxed feel. At 10:55AM each Sunday, we worship in the sanctuary where we are led by organ and choir as we sing hymns mainly from a hymn book.  We call this service “traditional” which to us means a style of worship that is a little more formal and would be easily recognized by our parents and grandparents.  Both services are warm and friendly.  While people tend to dress more “business casual” at the 10:55 AM service, there is no dress code or expectation for certain attire at either service.
