Leadership

I felt a call into ministry while a teenager and consider myself the most blessed person I know because I get to come to church every day! I am an ordained Elder in the Global Methodist Church and was first appointed full time in 1995 (La Grange UMC). From then I’ve served Angier UMC (1999-2006), Salem UMC in Greenville, NC (2006-2011), Sunrise UMC in Holly Springs, NC (2011-2017), Asbury Church in Raleigh, NC (2017-2020), and Concord Church of Roxboro, NC (2020-2025). My undergraduate degree is in Philosophy from Elon University (BA in 1992) and my graduate degree is from Duke University (M-Div in 1995). I am a certified life coach through Passion in Partnership, and I offer marriage, family and individual counselling through the church office. I am eager to grow in my relationship with God and consider myself first and foremost a Christ-follower! I love
